It’s weird, it’s wacky, and it was made for under $500. What started as a creative exercise—pulling random nouns, locations, and situations from a hat—turned into something unexpectedly fun and special. With just ten words and a handful of wonderfully talented people, the project took off, set to be shot and edited, with offline completed in a month.

The film went on to win Best Indie Film (2017) at the Los Angeles Film Awards and was an official selection at both the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival (HIMPFF) and Los Angeles CineFest. Not bad for a project born from pure randomness!

This is another experiment where we drew subject matter from a hat... and somehow ended up with Poof—a hilariously absurd short film about friendship, flatulence, and interstellar salvation. Now, full disclosure: we had serious reservations about pulling the fart card. So much so, we shuffled and redrew... only to pull it three times in a row. It wasn’t just a sign—it was a challenge. A mission to elevate bathroom humor into something fun, fresh, and (dare we say) not cringy.

When an average guy discovers his farts have the inexplicable power to teleport him anywhere, his life takes a wild turn. Inspired by his quirky friend Isaac, he embarks on a journey to master his... ahem... "butthole control" and turn his awkward ability into a tropical vacation hack. But things don’t go as planned. From crashing an intimate anniversary swim to accidentally interrupting a high-stakes hostage situation and even stumbling into a drug lord’s lair, chaos follows every with every poof.
